「The Strategy for the Smart and Sustainable Transformation of the Biomedical Industry and the Challenges of Medical Device Regulatory Compliance」
♦ Introduction/Course Overview:
The global trend of net-zero carbon emissions has evolved from an environmental issue to an economic issue of international competitiveness for industries. Many countries have set net-zero emission targets for 2050. Although most medical device industries in Taiwan are small and medium-sized enterprises, most of them are export-oriented due to the small domestic market. Therefore, they need to pre-deploy net-zero transformation strategies to avoid being excluded from the global biomedical industry supply chain.
To accelerate the realization of net-zero and carbon reduction goals for medical device manufacturers and encourage the development of innovative medical device technologies, this course focuses on the theme of smart transformation. It will share concepts such as sustainable strategies for green manufacturing, smart manufacturing, and key ESG development. It will also help medical device companies understand the quality management compliance and challenges that may be encountered in the smart transformation of medical devices. This will help to create a smart and sustainable biomedical industry chain and enhance the international competitiveness and sustainable corporate image value of Taiwan's biomedical industry.
