To coincide with the participation of the laureates of the 5th Tang Prize in the award ceremony, the Tang Prize Foundation, along with the Development Center for Biotechnology (DCB), Taiwan Bio Industry Organization (TBIO), and the Industrial Development Bureau, Ministry of Economic Affairs (IBMI), is hosting the 'Tang Prize Taiwan Biotech Forum.' This forum invites experts from Taiwan's industry, government, and academia to have a dialogue with the three biotech and medical award laureates who successfully developed mRNA vaccines for COVID-19, with a focus on the theme 'The Birth of a New Generation of Drugs: mRNA.' The panelists will share their perspectives on the current status and future trends of nucleic acid technology, providing the audience with new insights into this cutting-edge technology and facilitating future collaborations and applications in Taiwan's industry, government, and academia.
